Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza XVII in Oaks, Pa is September 16-19, and Fabrics Galore will be there for our 2nd year, so be sure to stop and say "hi"

We have some new things in the store for you to stop by and see. Kaffe Fassett prints in bright bold colors. A new gadget called the "Batting Buddy" which is a quilt-as-you-go acrylic template and we also have patterns to go with. Bali Pops are back with brand new flavors coming soon. In 1922 the Farmers Wife magazine posted a questions to their readers and we have the Farmers Wife Sampler Quilt book with the best responses and 6" blocks they inspired. Jo Mortons latest book "Coming Home" along with 2 other favorites "Vintage Journey" and "Remembarances". We have found a new "favorite" thread...Aurifil thread is 100% cotton 50/2 weight and 1422 yards it's great for piecing and applique.

Thurs, 9/9 is Janome Club from 7-8pm, this month we will be covering the Border Guide Foot...achieve decorative designs and straight line echo quilting. FREE

Sat, 9/11 is Almost Woven from 10-2, this is a beginner adult and kids can sew wallhanging that is a quilt-as-you-go project. $25 plus cost of materials.

Sat, 9/11 is also Saturday Sampler at 11am.

Sat 9/18 is our most popular Pillowcase class from 10-12. For beginners and kids. $15 plus cost of materials, kits are also available.

Thurs, 9/23 is our Crazy Quilt from 6-8pm, learn to foundation piece this very popular quilt block. $15 plus cost of materials.

Thurs, 9/30 is Circles and Squares from 6-9pm, Machine Applique (raw edge) for the confident beginner, uses 10" squares so scraps are great!



Farmer's Wife Club will be starting in October. Beginning Friday, Oct 1st from 11-1 we will be working on 6" blocks from the Farmers Wife book. We will meet on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month. This club is for intermediate stitchers and the cost is $15/week plus the cost of materials.
